A simple hunt for a werewolf, or so we thought. Find its lair and slay the beast. No use for wolfsbane or other superstitions. Silver and magic would win the day. A worthy challenge, but nothing horrific, surely. Yet we never expected what we found in the Graenseskov, and our hubris cost us dearly... ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐ฌ๐ค๐จ๐ฏ is an 80-page bookmarked Ravenloftยฎ adventure for characters of 1st-4th levels focused on mystery and exploration. Sometimes things are not what they seem. While the PCs are sailing through pirate-infested waters, a crewman spots the floating wreckage of a sailing ship. Two survivors are standing on the deck waving frantically. The survivors โ an eccentric old man, and a noble woman, claim to be merchants from Waterdeep, but are in fact pirates. During an attack on a merchant vessel, the old man, a mage, had missed with a fireball and hit their own ship causing serious damage and killing several crew mates. As punishment, the pirate leader left them marooned on the wreckage, taking the ship they had attacked. This is a short module focused on roleplay. Combat is unlikely as the pirates have no reason to attack or threaten their rescuers. The female survivor seeks a hidden treasure, which could provide a hook for ongoing adventure. While the module isn't explicitly written for solo play, it could be easily adapted for any group size provided the power balance between rescuer and pirate is maintained. Pgs. 24-25
"Something Fishy" - a Celtic-world campaign. "Iasc" is set in a small Celtic kingdom that can be fit into any medieval/fantasy campaign. The PCs need not be Celts. The likelihood of combat is very high, and the party is recommended to host several warriors.

Five separate adventure sites playable individually or linked together, The Star Cairns can provide a diversion for treasure-hungry adventurers - or can be used as the seeds for an extensive campaign. Although the adventures are designed for four to eight characters of levels 5-8, each section can be adjusted for weaker or stronger groups. TSR 9579
The Pearl of Madness is a companion adventure made to go along with the events unfolding prior to the core adventure founding Folio #14 (WS1 ). It contains the information needed to run a side adventure that will help characters gain a degree of experience before setting out into the interior of the Isle of Jade. Thunder booms on the north of the isle and a dark rain falls on the inland swamps prompting the village chief to deny the characters canoes for their journey for another day. This respite offers the characters a chance to participate in a village tradition, the pearl dive. With whispers of great wealth at the bottom of a secluded cove, the players prepare for a dive that will provide more than the mundane. When the Isle of Jade begins to rumble, the islanders cancel the player's expedition to the inland. However, it is still a beautiful day for a pearl dive. Can the players find fortune in the tranquil waters of a hidden cove, or does something more sinister lurk there? This adventure is formatted to both 1E & 5E gaming rules.

In that instant, the village of Rhale was utterly destroyed, reduced to a hollow crater of flaming decay. Now, frightened talk of a dark presence descended from above has taken root, though none can put name to the faceless fear that might reside within this terrible orb." While traveling the countryside, the player characters witness an explosive event - the falling of a meteor into a distant hillside. Soon thereafter, they encounter several mercenaries menacing some refugees. From them, the PCs can learn, that a group of dragon worshippers called the Black Covenant are in the area and intend to use the fallen star for their own nefarious purposes. Upon arriving at the crater, the PCs find that the falling star is in fact a massive sphere of iron with an opening in its side. They enter the sphere to find a small complex of rooms protected by numerous traps and guardians. They also battle several members of the Black Covenant, until they make their way to the heart of the complex, where they discover the source of the Covenant's interest in the Black Egg, they try to use it to create a half-fiend red dragon.
