An expedition of dwarf warriors from Citadel Adbar finds itself isolated and besieged by Ice Spire ogres and their allies. They require immediate relief or they risk being destroyed to a dwarf. Seer has directed you to their location in the hopes that you can rescue the dwarves and save their precious cargo, a tablet bearing secrets of ancient rune magic.

TL;DR - great fun, tense adventure that will definitely need more than the declared 2 hours to run.
Played this as an 'drop in' at the Vienna RPG Friday night - we blew the 2 hour time estimate by a factor of 2 - only with the slickest of optimized teams are you going to get this done within the time slot; with our grab bag of walk-up characters we were light on stealth for the sneaky bits, and at the low end of the damage-soaking spectrum for the fights so the combats were nail-biting. Similarly, the big 'twist' is not so super obvious that you will come up with it without some head scratching and discussion which blew out our time taken. All of which made for a very enjoyable, super-tense adventure - we left feeling like we had escaped only by the grace of lucky dice rolls.
