Tarkan has played this adventure and would recommend it.

A fantastic one-shot adventure! I have run this twice now - (once for completely new players to D&D and once for a more experienced group). It includes a handful of smaller obstacles to gradually easy players into picking up the rules and some colorful and interesting NPCs in the thematic backdrop of a Graveyard where the undead have recently arisen due to some nefarious necromantic activities. Right from the start, players are motivated to investigate what is going on. I found my new group of players (who are in no way extroverted) began roll playing in character almost from the get-go.

Although there are no pre-generated playable characters available, I used to quickly generate the player's character sheets after they had selected their race, class, and name. However, it would be possible to run this for any group of characters, pre-generated or otherwise. If you are looking for a quick one shot that you can pick up and run on the fly - I cannot recommend The Bone Yard more highly.
