Cover of The Burning Goblins

The Burning Goblins

The quiet village of Greenfork is in a state of uproar, scarred twisted looking goblins raided the village during the night and kidnapped the miller’s daughter. The Mayor has put out a call for adventurers to bring the girl back safely and end the goblins threat once and for all. This adventure starts just outside the village of Greenfork and thrusts players straight into the action.

This book contains a full length tabletop roleplaying fantasy adventure:

Advancing players from one to three.
Sixteen monsters and characters.
New Games Masters advice and guides.

A fantastic first adventure for new players, but more importantly this adventure was designed with first time Games Masters in mind, giving you as many tools as possible to help run the game.

The link is to a review of the module (a scathing, foul-mouthed, "rant"-style one), that page does have a DriveThruRPG link at the end, but the link is broken. I did some searching and I don't think this adventure is available for legitimate purchase or download anymore; it's been uploaded to anyflip, but its no longer on drivethrurpg or DM's guild, it's not on the creator's patreon, and when I tried to go to blueswordgames.com (which is the website link I found from the creator's reddit), the link was blocked for a revoked security certificate.

I think the listing should probably be taken down, since it seems the creator has made the adventure unavailable, and leaving up a link to a really mean-hearted review (with a dead store link at the end) doesn't help anyone.

NickWillard has played this adventure and would recommend it.

One of the best possible one shots for a newbie player I've ever run. Gave my friends and I quite the time, and that's saying something as a DM of 17+ years. Players new and old took to the simplicity and really enjoyed the NPCs and ability to do more than hack and slash a way to victory (some good rolls on their part).

I'll never forget the new player laughing so hard be cried.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
