N4 Treasure Hunt

The island of Viledel, the mighty Sea King, was sacked by a pirate army 60 years ago. Its destruction was so complete that even the location of the island was lost and forgotten. Despite the rumors of immense treasures still hidden in the ruined stronghold, no one ever found the Sea King's island again.

Until now. Through a cruel twist of fate, a small band of unwilling adventurers is washed ashore on a small, barren island, and discovers what remains of Viledel's settlement.
But they aren't alone; marauding ores and goblins have found the island, too, and are frantically searching for the lost hoard.
In this desperate treasure hunt, the real payoff may be survival.

kevp1973 has played this adventure and would recommend it.

This is a great starter adventure. I modified for 5e and allowed the players to start at 1st level instead of 0 level. The scenario brings the characters together as they are captured and held captive by slavers (this simplifies the beginning process of how do we know each other, how did we meet, etc). The characters must forgo normal starting equipment and scavenge which makes things tougher but they learn to appreciate the items they have much more. The players will have a great sense of accomplishment if they can manage to survive and escape the island.
