INTRODUCTION All of the members of the party will be making a pilgrimage to the baths at the hot springs at Caldricium in the southern part of Suessiones, part of the old Kingdom of Noricum. The waters at the baths are renowned for their curative properties, and are sacred to the god Belenus. They are one of a number of baths located at springs in the foothills of the Padavine Mountains which divide the Empire from the Kymric kingdoms.
INTRODUCTION This adventure is designed for characters between levels 7 and 9, and is aimed for level 8. Any number of characters can be used, but we recommend at least three and no more than 10. Everything is in terms of D&D and YRS. With the information given' it should be easy to convert to other systems as well. All characters must be Warriors, or at least be able to pass for fighting men effectively. It should run about two hours, and could easily be extended with some logical extrapolations.
BACKGROUND This scenario is set in a fantasy background para-llell to the terrestrial middle-east of the early medieval period. This is a context parallel with and compatible to that of the WYRDWORLD adventures. References are kept general enough to be fitted into any middle-eastern type world, or with a little bit of work to worlds of other types.
