Have you ever considered how hard it would be to fight a tractor with a sword or greataxe? Your players deserve to find out! This adventure traps the player characters in a small pocket plane set up by nefarious forces. They must explore a small modern farm and deal with its hazards to end the curse placed on the farmer. There are, of course, a few complications to deal with, like animated farm equipment trying to kill them, and the innumerable horde of ghoulish chickens penned up in one of the chicken houses... The adventure is balanced for the way 5e is structured, meaning Long Resting is very risky, so they will have to conserve resources, and was designed and tested for 4 Level 6 players. Characters are inducted into the Clifftop Adventurers’ Guild with a literal leap of faith, playing the notorious freefall game Sharn Chicken—who will be the last to activate their feather fall talisman? As new members of the guild, they are then tasked with collecting an artifact, tied to the fires of Fernia, from an artificer in the deep forge districts of Sharn. Within the Cogs, the characters find the item has not even been finished—the warforged employees of the forge are on strike! In order to resolve the strike, characters might join the protest, seek allies among the warforged locals, or earn the crew some street cred by taking part in an underground wrestling match. Once the warforged have returned to work, the party must help an artificer stabilize the magical forge while being attacked by emerging fire elementals. Finally, once the prize artifact has been constructed, the characters fight their way past an ettin enforcer for the monstrous Daask crime syndicate.

This is a one-shot noir adventure set in the world of Eberron. In it, the players take on the role of inquisitives investigating strange murders in one of the seedy backstreets of Korunda Gate, a city on the border of the Mror Holds. The adventure is for four level 5 players (though adjusting for 3-6 players would be minimal effort) and is expected to take around four hours. It is a great introduction to Eberron for DMs and players alike.
