While doing due diligence going over some dusty tomes you have discovered a scrap giving you a clue about some magical items in a strange obelisk somewhere in the vicinity. The adventure takes the PCs across the Torgoth’s Causeway into the frontier. A few coins to a local sage and you will have a better idea on where to go…or so it would seem.
Located at the division of land between the Duchy of Starryshade and the famed Horselords is the historic Mystic Wood. Home to the site where the peace treaty was signed between the two countries this area is rumored to have a strange effect on magic. Information has reached the local thane that a gathering, or conclave, of humanoids is to occur this weekend. He has dispatched his military but they are too far to be of use. He has heard of your growing fame and asked your party to investigate this rumor and take appropriate action.
With their first adventure under their belts, the newfound associate Gelbo Green, needs to get his alchemist shop back in order AND find some needed supplies for his potion business. As he can’t do both he has asked the party that saved his shop if they would be interested in an ingredient search. He has offered a comfortable sum and has described the items he is need of. Despite your offer to help the citizens politely refuse. After sitting down for your meal you quickly learned that some children found a ship that has run aground. The father tells you that the children are prone to exaggerate but you obtain directions to the supposed site anyway. Sure you’re alone, but you’ve got tons of experience already…
The fourth installment of the Filbar Dual (FD) series is The Hunt for Charon and picks up where the FD3 - Crisis at Marstan left off. Your pair of intrepid adventurers is off to find out who orchestrated the attack at Marstan. When the previous adventure concluded they discovered a note mentioning a “Charon” as behind the attack and the humanoid raiders. This adventure will see if the pair can find and defeat this person/humanoid and protect the area once and for all.
Sometimes only a hint of an adventure is given to players and more information is required. In FV12 - Monteleone Chariot this is just such a case. As the party reaches town they begin to hear of a mysterious relic from the past civilization and both information and backers must be investigated. Will your party be able to determine facts from fables? Whose interest will they serve in their investigation or will they just try and locate the item for themselves?
This setting was used in the F series and was used as an area for multiple adventure opportunities as a separate crossing of the Border Mountains. This mountain area has several travel sections to get from the civilized area to the frontier. With a multitude of side adventures this area helps mid-level adventurers increase their experience point base. In the Filbar campaign it was commonly used to get from Havendale to Arcanum College and Cordicstown.
Recently, a cult known as the Licor Faction rose to fame for helping people outside the walls of Phoenix. Today they are to be rewarded for their work but are offended when an apprentice and not the Zephyr of Molar gives them the accolades. Angered, the leaders leave the stage and return back to their compound. A bit later you are offered a job to go arrest the leader of the cult as they are to be exposed as a false religion. Cultists usually surrender their leaders easily right?
The party that has made their way along the causeway has arrived on the edge of the sea and has been summoned by the high priest. The party has been asked to help in a mission on Borsk Isle. The group will be providing security to the mountain temple as a relic is going there to be destroyed. The island is home to a variety of creatures, most of which will be aggressive…up for a challenge?
This scenario puts a new but experienced adventure back into harm’s way. After arriving at the small community of Penchant for a festival, the PC quickly discovers that there is danger afoot! The citizens are reporting a bloodthirsty creature roaming the area threatening the festival. If this problem can be resolved a second and more dangerous challenge awaits them in a nearby cemetery. As with all adventures in the Penchant series it can be difficult and not for the faint of heart!
The Denali Monarchy has been toppled and the citizens have formed a new government. The new head of the government, called The Hona, has requested additional help from the party. For a long time an island to the east called Rodo has been a source of goods for the land. The Hona wants to make sure that local regent, Lord Karlock, is going to continue to be a part of Denali or if he has other “thoughts” on the matter. You have traveled to the westernmost point in the Duchy of Starryshade as you make your way to the borderlands. Your final stop in the duchy is a small roadside inn called the Shepherd’s Spear Inn. While stopping for a respite you hear a few tales including a mysterious abbey nearby. This structure is said to only appear for a short time every three years. Magic and wealth are said to be lost within the walls of this structure and with little else to do this might be a final hurrah for your stay in Starryshade!

With no other leads at the moment you gear up and decide to embark on the search for this item!
Noel Needs Elves is our Christmas tongue-in-cheek adventure! While it could be a 'real' adventure it was designed to just have a good time with some holiday strangeness! After getting done with your first adventure you head to a fortress in a canyon to resupply and heal up. There you meet Lady Noel who is involved in a fight of her own. She trades you healing for the promise to deliver a message to the Elves on the other side of the canyon. Happy holidays everyone!
Half a century ago the legendary mage Delekin reached his zenith but began a fall of monumental disaster. After being betrayed by his party the mage changed alignment and began a cruel tirade against the residents. He was finally taken down by the Lords of Evil and imprisoned in a tomb created to lure good adventurers to their death. Many have entered the unholy locale and none have returned. Whatever evil is present in the tomb is powerful, and most likely very wealthy. This adventure is one of the Original series i.e. an early work!
