Many of the local lords had gathered for a peace moot. A perfect opportunity for the demon-possessed Aeldrith Forkbeard to murder them all in cold blood. The PCs, attending the moot, must now flee for their lives. Harried by a Northlander warband, the party is forced to flee into the dreaded Witchwood. To reach the safety of the Kingdom of Marshes they must traverse the depths of the forest, avoiding Northlander raiders and the strange creatures of the Witchwood. The adventure also takes the PCs into the Feywild, where time runs strangely and memories are fragile. Finally, they must face the chilling Gatekeeper guarding the Feywild portal that allows the PCs to return to the Material Plane. While traveling along the Trade Way, the characters see a small hut on the side of the road, and a spiked barricade erected in the middle of the road. Two men with cudgels in their hands stand on either side of the road. These two brigands proclaim to be members of the Waterdeep City Watch, but any Waterdhavian with half a brain knows this to be a lie. The truth is that these are common highwaymen trying to fleece travelers and merchants with a phony road toll. In this simple encounter, the characters can employ whatever inventive tactics they want to pass the brigands. They may simply pay the toll, they may try to intimidate the bandits or appeal to their better nature by making a Charisma check, or they might resort to violence. Or, they may attempt something else entirely! Encourage creativity.

In Flight of the Magpies your party is employed by a famous band of sky mercenaries to do a simple job: find out which airship will be transporting a mysterious prisoner. Simple jobs turn into crazy adventures in Eberron though, and this module is no different. Will the party rise (or fly?) to the challenge? Flight of the Magpies is an adventure for a group of players at level 3 that can be played early in an Eberron campaign to start things off with a bang. It was originally devised as a one-shot and can still be played as one, while also being a fun introduction to this game for new players. It will take 3 to 5 hours to complete as a single session, or it can be split in two shorter ones. This adventure is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced players, and contains enough information on the World of Eberron that you don't have to do any "homework" to play it. Statblocks for all the custom enemies you may fight in this adventure are also provided, so that you can start playing without having to own any other book.

The party is tasked with saving the last child in the village and eventually retrieving the kidnapped children. The villains first appear to be goblins, but after a hunt and a fun teleportation maze, they find out a human mage is behind it. The mage has been transmuting the children into human-goblin hybrids.

In this frozen and otherworldly adventure the party must overcome rimy insects, a void dragon wyrmling, and the pull of the breach itself.
