Lately, however, women in town disappear into the swamp near the Weeping River at night... and return in the morning, entranced but unscathed. Their families want to know why they return at sunrise with no memory of the previous night. These women found themselves a friend in the boo-hag, angry at the townsfolk for damaging her swamp. Cheese Goblins III — The Church of Lavache A Level 4 Adventure of Holy Havoc and Dairy Doom by Infinite Initiative High on a lonely hill, the Church of Lavache has gone strangely silent. What was once a peaceful chapel now glows with sickly yellow light. Locals whisper of cheese-scented smoke curling from its windows… and giggling shapes scampering through the graveyard after dark. Inside, something ancient stirs. A deranged warlock—Darius Manchego—has seized the sanctuary and begun a ritual to summon Lavache, an obscure archfey of dairy, indulgence, and decay. Cheese Goblins swarm the halls, corrupting pews, altars, crypts, and even the sacred dead. If the ritual completes, the Matron of Cheese will step through the veil—and the town below may drown in holy curdled chaos. Adventurers must storm the defiled church, navigate its cheese-slicked catacombs, disrupt the ritual flames, and confront Darius before Lavache fully manifests… or face the archfey herself in all her gooey, bovine glory. Inside the Adventure A complete 5e one-shot for characters level 4 • A hilltop church overrun by goblins, traps, riddles, and corrupted magic • A branching dungeon with dynamic time pressure—delays strengthen the final encounter • A cheese-slick sanctuary fight, a cursed family crypt puzzle, and a summoned archfey showdown • A chaotic boss battle with Darius Manchego and (if the party is too late) Lavache, the Matron of Cheese • A new magic item: Curdled Charm of Cheese Conjuring Adventure Hooks The Sudden Takeover – Overnight, the church begins oozing cheese and goblins barricade the road. A Priest in Panic – A trembling clergyman begs the heroes to reclaim his overrun chapel. Bounty on the Cheese Warlock – A wanted poster offers coin for the capture of Darius Manchego, last seen near the church. Part of the Thirsty Tiger Tales series by Infinite Initiative—short, atmospheric adventures built to run in one or two sessions.

Trapped in the Toybox
5th Edition
Level 8

This adventure has a lighter tone but isn’t completely out of place in a serious campaign. The challenges include combat, puzzles, traps and a legendary monster; Jack, in a Box. Does the party need to find something that an evil (and possibly mad) mage may have secluded away in an extra-dimensional space, and ordered an evil Jack-in-the-box and his toy army to protect it at all costs? Well that’s convenient because that is exactly the kind of situation that "Trapped in the Toybox" can help you with. Alternatively maybe that Dragon fight went a little too well for your party, maybe this “cursed chest” could help teach them a little humility. This adventure is designed for 4 (1d6 + 1) adventurers of 8th level who are in possession of a sense of humour. The toybox was created by a chaotic yet playful wizard, in order to hide an enchanted amulet under the protection of Jack. The adventurers should find themselves trapped inside the toybox, and they're in Jack's world now. Jack is the master of this domain and protector of both the amulet he has been entrusted with and the only exit of the toybox. There are a number of ways the adventurers may have come to be inside this toybox, e.g., the toybox may be found as part of the adventurer's loot in a dungeon or dragon's hoard, upon investigation it drags the adventurers inside. Note: This module commemorates our first themed week of Reddit's /r/Monsteraday and ties together this week's monsters in a dungeon designed for four 8th level adventurers. https://www.reddit.com/r/1d6Adventurers/comments/61axk3/trapped_in_the_toybox_adventure_module/ Published by 1d6Adventures

But will they discover the truth of his machinations? Word has spread through the small collection of towns within the Grey Shade that a cult of Baphomet has been preparing something for their master within his palace. The players will travel to Baphomet’s palace, and make their way through the massive forest maze that surrounds it. They will find the corpse of one of the previous heroes enshrined near the center which hints towards the true purpose of the cultists. They will then have to infiltrate the dread palace either stealthing or fighting their way through the defenses. They then must make it past Baphomet’s Lieutenant, Aphalos, the Godeater. The characters defeat Aphalos or persuade him to leave his master to his fate. Once they enter the chamber, Baphomet’s plan is made clear. He wishes to create a maze within time, thus trapping this world in the same cycle of pain and doom as before.
