This knowledge is greatly prized by many, so the evil fortune teller hides in his lair, protected by maddening winds and the souls of those he slew to obtain his knowledge. (From DM's Guild) The Shrine of Marthammor Duin is a short excursion meant to supplement an ongoing Princes of the Apocalypse campaign. At it's core however, this is a traveller shrine that could be devoted to a deity in your homebrew games or any of the other god's of travel in the Dungeons and Dragons pantheons. It includes one new monster, two new items, a shrine map, and a printable player handout for your adventure. This short series of encounters was created to help Tyar-Besil feel more like a real place that was integrated into the surrounding lands and not just a dungeon filled with mad cultists. It also provides a nice opportunity for you to deliver some of the campaign’s back story to your players in an organic way. It will be particularly fun to run with groups that have a dwarf in them who can translate the native dwarven text in the shrine for the rest of the party and connect with the kingdom of Besilmer.
Ravenloft: Carnival of Lost Souls Campaign Guide is a guide for Dungeon Masters who bought our other products from the Carnival of Lost Souls campaign series. Ravenloft: Carnival of Lost Souls Campaign Guide features: - Starting adventure to kick the things off and get the characters to know the Carnival - In-between interludes and short encounters, which help to flesh out the Lost Souls NPCs more and add depth to the campaign - Grade Finale - an epic showdown with The Caller in the Mists! - Full description for each of the Lost Souls and what happens to them as a result of players’ actions - Check out the modular adventures of the series: Lamordia: The Hardest of Hearts, Dementlieu: Dance with the Devil, Kalakeri: The Forbidden Temple and Valachan: Hunter’s Moon! Disclaimer: We are a team of writers from Ukraine, so the unprovoked war and senseless aggression of the terrorist state of russia influenced our initial timelines significantly. The release of the Campaign Guide marks also a year since the start of the full-blown war. At the moment, we are as safe as we can ever be under the constant threat of missile strikes, and extremely proud that we managed to finish the whole campaign! We are hopeful that the victory is close at hand, and in the new, whole, and peaceful Ukraine, we will create even more cool adventures! ;) Made in Ukraine
The spire has existed for as long as locals can remember. Rising above the sand near the ocean, the spire is topped by a natural cave system. Stories about the place circulate around the docks and taverns of the nearby towns—dark tales of ritual sacrifice and the worship of long dead gods of lightning and storm. Many claim the victims of the old cult still crawl through the tunnels accessible at the peak of the spire. Others say a new scaly threat now lairs there, and the storms of late have been most violent near that place. In this explorative and perilous adventure, the party ascends a great rocky spire to face the place’s past and the blue dragon that presently resides there.
