The Proving Glade is a one-shot adventure meant for parties or duets. Your characters arrive in a small settlement that has a big problem. The forest, its lifeblood, has seemingly withdrawn its bounty. Others have gone in, only to return hours later confused about how they got out. Will your party have the wherewithal to navigate the treacherous forest, pass its surprising tests, and uncover what’s truly going on? I wanted a forest adventure that felt alive and busy. I also didn’t want every encounter to be solved with the swing of a sword. The Proving Glade is about questioning value, morality, judgement, and redemption. This adventure was written as part of the Summer 2019 RPG Writer's Workshop. We also submitted In the Heart of the Forest. While these two adventures are not necessarily connected, they both involve navigating difficult and dangerous scenarios in a forest and could naturally be strung together. This Product Includes -A 3 to 4 hour one-shot designed for parties or 1-1 play. -A new Sidekick stat block: Daelin Hoofbane, ranger extraordinaire. -A new custom creature: the mysterious and powerful Alseiad, a glade nymph of incredible beauty. -2 new maps: One region map for the forest around Quaervarr near Silverymoon and one battle map for The Hydra's Mire.

And I’ll get that racket across the street taken care of. Yes, I most certainly will. Miss Teree runs a elegant teahouse in the upscale part of the city. But when a kobold, Sug, buys the inn across the street, her sales plummet. But then Sug starts finding rats in his basement, and they somehow manage to kill his bouncer. Stars Over Stormwreck is a short adventure for four to five characters with an Average Character Level of 4. This product is designed to act as a bridge adventure between the Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set adventure Dragons of Stormwreck Isle and the Spelljammer: Adventures in Space adventure Light of Xaryxis. Dragons of Stormwreck Isle takes characters from 1st level to 4th level, while Light of Xaryxis begins at 5th level. During Stars Over Stormwreck, the characters travel from Stormwreck Isle to the city of Luskan, with the challenges of that journey taking them from 4th to 5th level and preparing them to enter the adventure in Light of Xaryxis. This adventure assumes you already own both the D&D Starter Set: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle and the Spelljammer: Adventures in Space boxed set. About the Adventure As a new group of heroes engages with the challenges and revelations of Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, the discovery of a mysterious relic from another world suggests that even greater adventures lie ahead. After their Stormwreck trials are done, the characters take sea passage to Luskan on the trade ship the Western Wind, hoping to learn more about the mysterious egg that’s come into their possession. The trip will not be easy, though, as an attack by sea-elf cultists, the threat of mutiny, and the escape of dangerous creatures from the ship’s hold all threaten to cut short the party’s journey. And all the while, strange storms of shooting stars appear across the night sky like some sort of prophecy—but of coming glory, or of imminent destruction? Stat blocks are included, as well as an Astral Sea Encounter Generator Appendix and a Wildspace Generator Appendix, supplying you with new DM tools for your Spelljammer campaigns.

The island is disrupting trade throughout this part of the world, and several ships have already been lost. Unbeknownst to those that know of the place, the island rises at the will of Shar-Ngolyeth, a long-lost deity also known as That Which Lurks Beneath the Waves. The island is populated by a cult of deep ones and the beasts they have subjugated in the name of their dark god. The creature responsible for sinking ships is an aspect of Shar-Ngolyeth, a kraken. It is not meant for combat encounters; it's largely a plot device in this encounter.

"The trees bend, twist and rearrange themselves as the sun fades, replaced by a single massive moon hanging high in the sky. You find yourself somewhere altogether different with bigger more gnarled trees, everything more vibrant with color in the bright moonlight. The bold browns, purples and blues around you don't feel real, more like something from a beautiful painting. Yet here you stand..." This is a one-shot adventure through one of the twisted fairy tale baronies of Thelanis. In it, the players find themselves in a strange land seeking an item they know little about. They will encounter a village whose people have been turned to shrubs, be shrunk down to a 20th of their size in a garden of tiny trees, fight a tree which is also a beholder, and come face to face with the Lady in Shadow herself. The adventure is for four level 5 players (though adjusting for 3-6 players would be minimal effort) and is expected to take around five hours. It is a great introduction to the planes of Eberron for DMs and players alike. It includes: * An exciting mystery to unravel * Three vicious new monsters to fight: earth bear, topiary beast, and the treeholder * Simple rules for running a skill challenge * A series of detailed maps for each combat encounter and an image for the puzzle encounter
