They are haggard and hollow-eyed, barely able to lift the picks and shovels they've clearly been using as weapons. Shrouded in damp blankets and shivering, they stare at you silently, even disbelievingly. There is only one left among them who appears to have a little iron left in his spine. He tightens his grip on his pick and steps forward. 'Are you here to help?'" Some doors should never be opened... A group of miners uncover a dark secret and find themselves fighting for their lives as the dead walk again. Can the party rescue the survivors and stop an ancient evil before it spreads across the land? Doorway to Darkness is a 3-5 hour adventure for characters of 2nd-3rd level. The slave markets of Katapesh may be an unsavory sort of business, but the trade metropolis’s enigmatic law enforcers have few qualms with the legal act of selling and buying flesh. Other factions, including the abolitionist Eagle Knights of Andoran, have their own opinions on the matter, however, and frequently send undercover agents into dangerous territory to break up slave rings. When one such Eagle Knight goes missing while investigating an underground slave operation beneath the dilapidated Twilight Gate district, it’s up to the PCs to delve an abandoned (but hardly uninhabited) qanat beneath Katapesh and discover her dire fate. Yet not everything is as it seems in the dank slave caverns under Twilight Gate, and clues hint that the slavers may have even more loathsome connections than initially suspected.

With the aggressions against the wall lessening the Council of Wisdom is organizing groups to go in and explore the land for possible "taming". This module favors investigative and inquisitive playstyles over kicking in the door with swords drawn. What they were not counting on was that a band of stone giants would move into the immediate area to make their lair. The giants have rebuffed the company’s attempts at getting past them and to their goal. Now is the time of the annual fair in Adurath, a small town located not far from the tomb, and thus, the giants. The giants have no interest in the town or the tomb, but are instead interested in a rare mineral found only in that region. A few of the townsfolk have seen the giants, but there has been no confrontation other than between the giants and the Company of the Shining Stone.

Stars Over Stormwreck is a short adventure for four to five characters with an Average Character Level of 4. This product is designed to act as a bridge adventure between the Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set adventure Dragons of Stormwreck Isle and the Spelljammer: Adventures in Space adventure Light of Xaryxis. Dragons of Stormwreck Isle takes characters from 1st level to 4th level, while Light of Xaryxis begins at 5th level. During Stars Over Stormwreck, the characters travel from Stormwreck Isle to the city of Luskan, with the challenges of that journey taking them from 4th to 5th level and preparing them to enter the adventure in Light of Xaryxis. This adventure assumes you already own both the D&D Starter Set: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle and the Spelljammer: Adventures in Space boxed set. About the Adventure As a new group of heroes engages with the challenges and revelations of Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, the discovery of a mysterious relic from another world suggests that even greater adventures lie ahead. After their Stormwreck trials are done, the characters take sea passage to Luskan on the trade ship the Western Wind, hoping to learn more about the mysterious egg that’s come into their possession. The trip will not be easy, though, as an attack by sea-elf cultists, the threat of mutiny, and the escape of dangerous creatures from the ship’s hold all threaten to cut short the party’s journey. And all the while, strange storms of shooting stars appear across the night sky like some sort of prophecy—but of coming glory, or of imminent destruction? Stat blocks are included, as well as an Astral Sea Encounter Generator Appendix and a Wildspace Generator Appendix, supplying you with new DM tools for your Spelljammer campaigns.
